Dana Staser Consulting, LLC, your trusted partner for all your early care and education consulting needs is collaborating with award-winning Mother Goose on the Loose!
The basic Mother Goose on the Loose was designed for children birth to age 3 with their parents and caregivers to promote the development of the Whole Child, to enhance parent/child bonding and to provide a joyful early literacy environment that focuses on learning through play. It uses a variety of activities, such as rhymes, songs, puppets, a flannel board and felt pieces, books, and musical instruments to foster speech development, early language and math skills, motor coordination, imagination, exploration, self-confidence, and sensitivity to others.
Mother Goose on the Loose activities: Learning through play.
Using hands-on activities to sing songs, share rhymes, and tell stories encouraging infants & toddlers to engage with the props supports whole child learning. Enjoying the smiles of young children exploring felt pieces and how they move makes for tons of fun!
Sharing rhymes with hand motions increases language development, and physical coordination as well as supports literacy acquisition. Teaching rhymes to toddlers can be a great way to allow them to take the lead in your classroom!
Songs are a great way to provide infants and toddlers with ways to express themselves, begin to predict what is next and explore movement. Singing, dancing, and laughing are a great way to learn!
Puppets are a creative way to inspire imagination in infants and toddlers. Creating fun and silly voices and movements take learning to a whole new level.
There are so many ways to read books to infants and toddlers! Each time you read with children, you expand their imaginations and encourage them to share their fun and crazy ideas!
Who doesn't want to be a part of a band? Children love to explore musical instruments and the sounds they make. Learning through music is a powerful tool for children!
